Day 04.

Day 04 - A habit that you wish you didn't have.

Oh wow.. Time to point out the flaws, eh? Well, let's get 'r done then.

ONE- Biting my nails. (No picture. Just disgusting.)

TWO- Thinking I'm invincible to where I'll never get sunburnt. Shaylin. Use. Sunscreen.


THREE- Having such a solid opinion on some things. (No picture can show this.) But music, either I hate it, or I love it. People, I either love them, or I judge them. The list goes on. But I'm in the process of fixing them..

FOUR- Curling my hair. And thinking it looks cute. I do this, every single time I curl my hair. I think it looks good, I go out in public, pictures are taken.. Then I get the shocking news when I see the pictures and think "WHAT THE FREAK CRAWLED AROUND IN MY HAIR?!"


FIVE - Spending money. Yes, I'm a shopaholic. I just can't help it!!

Day 03. (I'm in a bloggy mood)

Day 03 - A picture of you and your craziest friend.
AKA, I will post 3 pictures of 3 of my craziest friends. Please don't get this wrong with my best friends. (Although these 3 fall in that category as well)

(Also, these are in order of when I met them)
Crazy Friend #1: Kaylee June Dewey.. AKA my big sister

Friends since August 1, 1990.. although not best friends until many years later. She and I have been through more than a lot of ups and downs, fights and tender moments, and best of all, jumping up and down-go crazy days! Every time we get together, it's filled with laughing until we cry, food (usually), and talking like complete retards; but understanding each other completely. I love this girl so incredibly much! Good thing we're related, so I never have to worry about not keeping in touch throughout the years to come.

Crazy Friend #2: Jonathan Kaleo O' Kalani Kamae.. AKA "The Missionary"

Jonathan and I met back in Jr. High, but didn't really start talking until our Junior year of High School. After a little while of hanging out, we were an "official" couple on August 16th, 2007. Let me tell you, this kid is INSANE!! I seriously hope he's still crazy-fun when he gets home from his mission, because he was always.. and I mean ALWAYS making me laugh!! Whenever I had some silly idea, he'd go along with it because he's such a sweetheart, but then he'd end up taking it to the next level of extreme-craziness!! He was always ready for spontaneous activities, and could come up with something to do in seconds. (P.S. - He comes home in 80 days!!!)

Crazy Friend #3: Carly Ann Lockwood.. AKA Current Roommate and The Third Sister That I Never Had
Carly and I met around the beginning of 2009, but she had a boyfriend that liked to flirt with Kaylee and I, so she didn't think very highly of me at the time. As the year went on, she realized how cool I was, and how idiotic her boyfriend was! She and I started getting really close probably at the beginning of 2010, and this girl is just a little kid! Which matches my personality perfectly!! She and I do more random things than anyone I've ever met! For example, we ran out of our apartments without shoes on to look at the pretty lightning.. but there were trees in the way, so we walked into the parking lot. But both trees AND apartments were in our way.. We just kept walking, and before we knew it, we were at Pizza Pie Cafe!! Then we ended up on the roof.. That is just one of the billions of moments with her. I'm so glad I met her. She is amazing!! I LOVE HER!!

I will finish the 30 day challenge.. just not right now.

This is random, and quite disgusting. But I haven't shaved my legs in about 2 weeks, because I haven't needed to.. Plus, I just wear tights or leggings every sunday to church. What I don't understand is how men can just be okay with their harry legs! I was wearing long socks today, and the hairs were getting pulled by my socks and now my sweats.. GROSS! Maybe it feels different to guys? Maybe they just don't know what it feels like to have smooth legs? I'm not quite sure the answer, but I do know that I don't like the way this feels, and even though I'm incredibly superfluously tired and I just want to go to bed and it's 12:13am.. I might just go shave my legs.

That's all.

Plus I'm sick of homework. And school. Only 13 more days and I'll be in Mexico.. Oh how I can't wait for that..

Day 02.

Day 02 - A really good memory.

For some reason, this post is taking me a long time to come up with something.. Meaning the whole "Day After Day" of this challenge has already failed.. whoops/my bad.

-Now that it's about.. 7 years since I started this challenge, I'll continue with "Day 2"

I don't know why I was chosen to be able to partake in a little piece of heaven, but I am most definitely grateful for it. This concert was one of the most relaxing, heart warming, bitter, loving, inspirational, fun concerts that I've ever been to. John Mayer is really one of a kind.. Some may say that he's a dirt bag, and quite the whore... But in that moment of his concert, none of that mattered. I love that he was dressed like a comfortable homeless man, just because he wanted to! He doesn't care what other people think. If I didn't believe there was only one God, I would be convinced he was one as well. And his music is every synonym of amazing. Plus the fact that I was there with one of my dearest friends, Megan.. It just made the night one for the books (: I'm oh so happy that I was able to attend such a beautiful event.

2. I have cut my fingers more than 20 times in the past year working at Pizza Pie Cafe (the severeness of each cut varies.. the one above is the worst so far)

7. I absolutely love my job, and the people I work with. They're my family!

11. I learn something new everyday. Literally. For example, this morning I learned that "fan" is short for "fanatic"!!
12. I don't wear half of my wardrobe anymore, because I'm either at work, or going to school. Work outfit: Jeans and PPC shirt and hat. School: Sweats (because of yoga). When I get home: Sweats.
13. I don't have a favorite color. I like all bright/vibrant colors.
14. I still sleep with a stuffed animal, and I'm 20 years old. His name is Franklin, and I sleep terribly when I don't have him.
15. I'm super sarcastic, goofy, hyper and hardly ever serious.

Just a few bullet-points of my life right now..

First of all, I cut the tip of my finger off at work today. (almost all the way off.. still attached though! I know, gross.)
Second, I'm learning so much about Polygamy through a book called "Escape" by Carolyn Jessop.. Very good book.
Third, Jonathan comes home in 99 days. We're down to freaking double digits. WHEN did time decide to go faster than the speed of light?
Fourth, I definitely have Bieber fever (: -Justin Bieber, that is. I love his music! And no, it's not embarrassing (as my roommate Holly said) I'm proud of it. I don't care how old he is, or how much he sounds like a girl. He's got talent! Haha
Fifth, I got a 94/100 on my ASL test today!! And I've gotten "A's" on all 3 of my math tests so far! I have another one to take this weekend, so hopefully it follows the same pattern!!
Sixth, one of my really good friends, Courtney Dahl, is GETTING MARRIED ON FRIDAY!! I'm so excited for her (: This means I'm a bridesmaid for a third time in one year! Wowza!

Seventh, Harry Potter 7 part one comes out on Friday - But I'm not going to see it until it dies down a little.

Eighth, TAYLOR ELAINE SMITH IS NOW ENGAGED!!!!! She's one of my old roommates, and entirely adorable!! I'm in love with her, and I'm so happy for her and Lance (:

#1- I definitely need to buy some vitamins. I get sick WAYYY more often than I would like.

#2- I love my apartment, I love my roommates, and I love cleaning for cleaning checks so our apartment looks and smells fantastic for a little while (:

#3- Jon comes home in 106 days. Literally. He's coming home on February 25th.. CRAZY!!!! I can't believe I know the actual date now.. It's becoming quite real..

I just went and had a little "girl date" with Megan, and we saw Letters To Juliet in the dollar theater!! Let me just tell you, that was such a cute movie!! Tiny bit cheesy, but aren't all love movies?(Okay, and maybe I cried a little bit toward the end.. so what?)
Awh, I want to make my own love story like that!!

I am in such a good mood. I have been all day, and this was just the perfect addition to my happiness! If you haven't seen that movie, please go see it!

Plus, the weather has been absolutely gorgeous lately!! It's 9:20pm and still 79 degrees outside! So here I am, on my "balcony" (if you can even call it that) in my tye die sweatshirt enjoying this perfection.

Oh Pizza Pie Cafe.. I love you

We just barley opened a restaurant in Highland, Utah, so I have been going up there to train all the newbies! Yesterday was their first day open and it was quite exciting! I prepped some of the salad in the Provo store, and then Megan and I went up there around 10 and set up all the food for the day and trained the kids when they got in around 4. We didn't end up leaving until 9!! I was working for 13 hours yesterday!! Phew!! I was EXHAUSTED to say the least. We went up and trained again from 9-6 today and it's actually pretty sweet!! All I have to do is show them what to do, and then watch them do it for the rest of the day, making sure they're doing it right and answering any questions they have. And I just stand there. Oh, and the best part about it.... I'M GETTING PAID $10 AN HOUR WHENEVER I'M UP IN HIGHLAND!! Found that out this morning! Best news ever!! Okay.. I lied.. That wasn't the best news. Here it is: I get to wear a blue PPC shirt, and on the back, wanna know what it says? "TRAINER- Teamwork is a bunch of people doing what I say!" FREAK YEAH!! Ever since I started working, back in October and I saw all the Idaho trainers wearing those shirts, and I've been hoping and waiting for the day that I got to wear one.. And my time has come (: I feel all legit and stuff.. It's sweet!

HOLY MOLEY!

I was incredibly productive yesterday, and it was quite strange. Neither Kaylee or myself really knew what to say about it. I cleaned my entire side of the room, and I really should have taken pictures because it was so disgustingly .. well, disgusting. With Kaylee going to Washington next week, she's moving all of her crap to Aunt Pat's until she gets back in the end of August. Under my bed were three boxes of both of our stuff that we obviously didn't need too desperately, since we hadn't even gotten the boxes out since we moved here last August. So I decided to take everything out from under my bed, sort it out (got rid of two boxes), moved my scrapbook boxes out from under my bed to be my night stand so that I have more room under there. Then Kaylee took all of my clothes out of her dresser, so all of the above, plus more, was on our floor. And yesterday was the day that I organized everything!! The only stuff on the the floor is Kay's crap, and CLOTHES THAT I'M GETTING RID OF! Miracle, huh Mom? Me giving away clothes? And quite a lot of them, too! Here's what it looks like right now, and once I get more on my walls, I'll take more pictures (: I also did ALL of my laundry, folded it and put it away, AND!!!! I registered for Math 1010 and Biology 1010 in the fall at UVU! Finally going back to school! The classes are from 5:00p-8:15p on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so not too bad! Plus, I heard Biology is going to kick my butt, which I'm not too excited about :/ But I'm just happy to be back in school! I just have to find a way to pay for it now?


And tonight.. BACKSTREET BOYS CONCERT!!!!! With Carly, Holly, Jori, and Megan!! I have the whole day off of work to prep for it (:

Seeing as I'm watching Julie & Julia right now, I would feel it quite inappropriate if I didn't write a blog post. I LOVE THIS MOVIE!! And I love Amy Adams (: She is just so cute.

Anyways, I'm quite proud of myself for finally finding something that I'm good at... SLACK LINING!! My good friend Reece Hopkins taught me how to slack line last year* and I quickly became addicted! Luckily, I have quite the amazing sister and she decided to get me my very own slack line for my birthday! I didn't learn how to set it up by myself until a few weeks ago, but I got Carly addicted, and now we go at least 3 times a week! And she even bought her own!! Anyways, with all of the practice, we're getting very good at it! And I'm realizing that I do better under pressure, when there's a whole group of strangers watching me!! Or when Carly records me!

Jealous much?!

As previously mentioned, I love The Bachelorette! And since it tricked me yesterday, I watched it today, and on one of the dates, they got to go on top of a roof of some huge building in New York AND JOSHUA RADIN WAS THERE TO PLAY FOR JUST THEM!!!!! I'M SO IN LOVE WITH HIM, IT'S NOT EVEN FUNNY!! So, if you're looking for some good music, go to pandora.com and make a station for Joshua Radin.. Oh, heaven.

Time to vent.

I'm kinda sad that I stopped blogging for such a long time. But alas, here I am (:

I just want to say, people need to stick to their word. Don't tell me you're going to do something, just to blow me off. If you say you're going to be ready at 8:30, I'm expecting you to be ready at 8:30. If you tell me we're going to hang out, that's what I'm looking forward to.

The Bachelorette: If you're going to decide to come on at 7 instead of 8 randomly, LET ME KNOW! Darn-it.

What an eventful -begining of summer- I've had (:

New roommates, new adventures, new (almost) brother-in-law. He only has 8 MONTHS LEFT!! Which yes, the past 16 months have gone by pretty fast, and most of you would say "HOLY CRAP!! THAT'S SO SOON THAT HE'S COMING HOME!" But let me just tell you.. IT CAN'T COME SOON ENOUGH!! He likes to say that I'm the trunkee-est person he's ever met.. haha but I'd rather it be me than him.

Jumping to another situation.. and yes it's okay that I'm doing this.. How do you get a boy to like you that seems to just look past you? And why the freak are there no guys in Provo that have enough balls to ask me out? (Pardon my language.) I'm quite sick of it. No, maybe we're not going to get married, but don't you even want to start to get to know me? Even a little bit? Am I honestly that weird that you won't even take a few hours to try and get to know me? ALSO, why the heck do guys here feel it appropriate to swear and watch rated R movies?!?!? Do they not realize that it's SUPER SUPER unattractive when they do said things?

It's 1:04am, and I have to be at work at 8:30.. can someone tell me why I'm awake right now? *I just remembered.. It's because I took a 3 and a half hour nap today... STUPID!*

I just watched Armored, and I heard it was going to be so intense and I probably shouldn't watch it alone. So I've had it for almost 2 weeks now (via Netflix) waiting for someone to watch it with me, and when that failed, I finally watched it by myself today. And, honestly, it wasn't even that good. Okay, that's a little harsh. It was good, I just think I was expecting more? And it was only an hour and a half long! So short!

I'M GOING TO THE BACKSTREET BOYS CONCERT ON JUNE 23RD!! And not that I'm counting or anything, but that's in 10 days!!!

AUGUST 16TH WILL BE 3 YEARS SINCE DAY 1 WITH HIM!!

I'm an avid watcher of the Bachelor / Bachelorette since last season with Jake, and it's on again tomorrow, AND I'M SO EXCITED!

Megan and I went to a Real Salt Lake game last week, and we had STELLAR seats!! 7 rows back, to the right, of one of the goals!! And soccer players are little babies. Entertaining to watch, but really, grow up and get up.

I'm all over the place with this post. All in all, I'm having the time of my life here in Provo. I'm so happy with how things are turning out, and how the future is going to get even better!

My life lately

I can't believe I haven't even said anything about my new laptop!! I've obviously been needing one for some time now, especially since I'm planning on going to school again this summer, and I don't want to keep borrowing Kaylee's! So I did my taxes and decided to use all of that money plus whatever else it took to get me one! And I decided that if I was going to spend a large amount on a laptop, I might as well get the best! So MacBook Pro it was! I got my taxes back on a Friday, and on Saturday we went to Salt Lake and bought it!! It ended up being close to $2000!!!! I know, expensive. Freaking expensive. I used to have a pretty decent savings, but not anymore! I'm BROKE!! STILL! But I love it! It's so cute, perfect size, AND IT'S MY OWN!! My very own!! So, here are some pictures!
