Hmm..

I'm feeling very inspired right now.. to cook, to create, to write a blog post.. so many things!! I think it's because I just watched Julie&Julia again tonight with Holly and Kaylee.. That is such a good movie!! Unfortunately, Kaylee is not going to let me stay on the computer very long, because she's tired and wants to fall asleep to a movie. Speaking of computers though, I have decided that it's about time that I look into buying a laptop of my own (: So keep your eyes open for any good deals for me!

December21?

I can't believe it's already the 21st of December. Where has the time gone?! I'm so excited to be going home in 1 and a half days!!! Being in Washington for Thanksgiving AND Christmas this year.. man, I'm lucky (: And at 11:00 on Christmas day, I GET TO TALK TO JONATHAN!!!!!!!! And he sent my Christmas package there, so I get to open that when I'm there too!! This trip will be so much fun, I CAN'T WAIT!!!

What!? Is this a new post!??!?!!!??

Why yes.. yes it is!! And honestly.. nothing had really happened in the past two and a half months.. other than just working 8 to 4 every day at good ol' Pizza Pie Cafe! And I love it!! I'm always doing something, and I absolutely LOVE everyone that I work with!!

Also, JONATHAN HAS ALREADY BEEN OUT FOR 10 MONTHS TODAY!!! TEN FREAKING MONTHS!!!!! I can't believe how fast it's gone so far! I sent out his Christmas/birthday package yesterday, and the mail lady told me that he should get it by this weekend or Monday at the latest!! I'm so excited!!

Going along with that, Jon told me that all he wants for Christmas is a tie, and a lot of pictures of me! So I decided to go downtown Provo and take some pictures!! So I'll share a few when I get them from Lindsey (:

Tomorrow is Saturday, and I get to sleep in cause I don't have to be at work until 10:30 (: Life is just great!

I HAVE A NEW JOB!!

(Loooong post about how I got the job and so forth)

I work at a place called Pizza Pie Cafe which is a buffet type restaurant with salad, pizza and pasta. I am the cutie behind the pasta bar!! It's a full time job (but only paying minimum :/ but it's better than nothing!) and it's fun so far!! How I got the job was actually pretty awesome! I took the day off yesterday from Synergy because on Sunday night I was not feeling well at all! Thought I had a fever, and all my bones were in pain. So I slept in until 10:45am when I get a phone call from someone I didn't know. I answer, and they ask if I want to come in for an interview at either 11:30 or sometime after 2. So I said 11:30 would be great, and I jumped out of bed and got ready super fast. Didn't eat breakfast cause I didn't think the interview would take too long. So I get in my car and drive for 1&1/2 minutes, then get out (yeah, it's that close to my apartment!!) I walk in and start talking to the girls while I was waiting for the manager to come out, and they told me that if I was able to work all the time (which I am) that I should just suck up like crazy!! ((P.S. this is the place that I had to write a poem about myself, on the back of the application.. I'll put it at the end of this post)) So he comes out and we sit down and start talking, and he's asking me a few of the normal questions, and he was looking at my application, and when he got down to the part where it asks for previous experience I wrote "I have worked in customer service (blah blah) and I love to eat pizza!" So he was like "Oh, you like pizza? Alright, HIRED!!.. Alright, anyways.." and got back to the interview. Then he offered me a part time busing job, and I was so excited! He asked when I'd be able to start and I told him "right now!" So he told me to go buy some shoes, put jeans on and come right back! Then I asked how many hours that would be a week, and then he said "well.. are you looking for a full time job?" (Sure! Whatever you have!) "Alright.. well, we have a pasta and sauce maker position available.. do you think you'd be able to do that?" (Sure! As long as someone teaches me how!!) "Okay.. go buy some shoes really fast, and come right back. Is that alright with you? Are you willing to work today?" (OF COURSE!!!) So I did just that!! My first interview from turning in around 30 applications, and I got the job right away!!!! Ah, I love it. And I'm learning very quickly, if I do say so myself!! I basically just served pasta yesterday, and learned a FREAKING TON here and there.. Then this morning I made the pasta, and sort of saw how to make the sauces, and I learned a lot more today!! (As well as making a huuuge pond of water in the back room!! Whoops!! :) And I'm pretty sure I get to learn exactly how to make the sauces tomorrow!! It keeps me very busy, and I love it, but when I get home, everything from my hips down, KILLLSSS like crazy!! But it's alright!! Worth it! Anyways, enough is enough. I never was an etsy looker until today.. I won't tell you the reason why I decided to look today (cause it's a surprise!!) But I love it!! I then directed my search to a blank book that I could use for a journal to put a ton of quotes in, like in A Walk To Remember (which, by the way is an AMAZING movie, and I absolutely adore Mandy Moore in everything she does)((and that's wayyy off subject)) and I found these lovelies..is that a word? (:

One (because I have an obsession with elephants) and Two (and more from number two here) And they are so cheap!!! $2&3?!? I'm really really tempted to get them. And yes, I know they're small.. What are your thoughts? Should I get them?

Kay and I were painting picture frames the other day and I had some extra paint on my plate, so I was just messing around and came up with this. And it just so happens to be Breast Cancer Awareness Month, so it's perfect! It doesn't look good by any means, or pretty or anything, just thought I'd share, haha

Job Hunting

has never, ever been fun. But now it's necessary for me.


I might not be employed with my current company after the 15th of this month, and as much as it sucks that I'm losing my $12 an hour with an awesome boss and great flexibility, it's also a blessing.

I've been stressed out quite often by some of the "boys" (over 30 yr. old) that I work with, it's a 45+ minute drive to and from, I'm always completely bored out of my mind, and it just doesn't feel right working here.

I'm really not too worried about it, because I know that I'm doing everything that I'm supposed to and everything that I can to find a new job. Plus, my boss is so awesome and won't leave me without being able to support myself.

Start praying that I can find a new job fairly quickly though!!

I bought this cologne for Jonathan on our One Year anniversary last August.. LOVE IT! Being the sweetheart that he is, he gave it to me when he left on his mission. For the past little while, I've sprayed one squirt onto my bed every night, just because. When I'm sad, I spray it and cuddle up with Franklin. When I miss him, or when I'm about to be creative, I wear it as if it's my perfume. (I try not to do it too much though, cause people often think that's kind of weird that I'm wearing cologne..?) Whatever. I don't care (:

Embarassing... and painful :/

There's a girl that lives in the Bran that throws some sort of food party every week. Yesterday was ice cream sundae day (: !! YES! Unfortunately though, the time comes when you have to cease stuffing your face with that deliciousness and leave the party. When you walk out of her apartment, there are a few stairs that you have to walk up, and then a few you walk down.. Well I wasn't paying very close attention and went to grab my phone and didn't see the stairs to go down. I missed two steps, landed on the edge of the third and BIFFED IT! So I hurried and got up, looking around to see if anyone had just witnessed that, and when didn't see anyone, I walked off pretty fast.. I went to my downstairs apartment (Holly, Jori, Carly & Lindsey's apartment) and just told them the story. Then I found all of my owies!!



Scraped up my wrist and it hurts worse than it looks! Somehow scraped up my shin too? AND MY TOES! I JUUUUSSSTTT PAINTED THEM 2 HOURS BEFORE THIS! Gosh dangit. I was so mad about that! Poor little toesies..

Then when I was leaving the girls' apartment, I tripped on at least 2 things, almost falling flat on my face. But because I have such awesome reflexes and balance, I stayed alive.. My goodness.

And-

If I could have any job in the world, this would be it.

Zoey and the stupid white sock..

Cool title, huh? It could be a good children's book title if I substituted the word "stupid" with something less harsh (: Well, I made a trip to the bank yesterday to grab some coin rolls so I could count all the money that Zoey had been keeping for me! A few months ago, I had a $20 bill that I found, but I had no use for it at the time. So what did I do? PUT IT IN ZOEY! And thank goodness I did, because now I REALLLLY need it!

Now, it may not look like much, but there was actually $53.45 in there!! YES, YES, YES!!! This is the money I'm allowing myself to spend in Mexico! Hopefully I won't need more than that!

And for the stupid sock. I never ever ever wear white socks.. and the one day that I do, this is what I get:
