Day 14.

Day 14 - Picture of someone you could never imagine your life without.

I love my family (: Every one of them, and I definitely wouldn't be here without them all. We all have such different personalities, but we go together so well! LOVE YOU FAM!

Day 13.

Day 13 - A picture of something you hate.

WHISTLING BUGS THE CRAP OUT OF ME!! A couple guys do it at work ALL THE TIME and I'm about to shoot either their brains out, or mine.

Saturday, December 11, 2010

Hmm..

I just counted all of the guys (or the ones I can remember) that I've kissed since the beginning of High School until now.. and I have 17.. give or take a couple.. Well, more like just give a couple.

5 years, 17 guys... Is that bad?!

Day 12.

Day 12 - A picture of something you love.

Everyone, meet: Franklin (:

You've met before. Well, maybe not, but he's made an appearance on my blog in 5 pictures. But now it's time for the formal introduction.

Name: Franklin
Age: Ten years old (Or possibly 9?)
We first met at the Puyallup Fair in the year 2000. (Or maybe 2001?) He was a prize. Waiting.. wishing for me to win that particular game so we could begin our loving relationship. And, like always, I wasn't a let down. I WON that game. Franklin was named after the cartoon of the Turtle!

Because, if you knew me back then.. That was my favorite show to watch. LOVED IT. (Still do.. I'm going to watch an episode tonight, now that we're talking about it.) Anyways, he has literally been there for ever sad moment of my life.. since I got him, that is. Back in 9th grade when Scottie cheated on me, Franklin went along with me to the bathroom where I cried and cried and cried. He was there when I found out about my wonderful Aunt Kathy. He was there when Jonathan left for college, and then on his mission. He's there with me every night at bed time to comfort me from any incoming danger or discomfort. I literally don't sleep well at all without him. I'll wake up every hour or so, lost and confused. Franklin is more than just "a stuffed animal". He's one of my best friends (:

Day 11.

Day 11 - Your celebrity crush.

Uh.. oops..

I'll switch things up a bit. I'll do my celebrity girl crush. Not in a lesbian way of course.

CARRIE UNDERWOOD! (My oldest brother Ryan is convinced that he could have married her)

Absolutely 100 percent gorgeous. AMAZING AMAZING voice. Complete sweetheart. .. That's all I really know about her. But I'm in love with her. And she sings this song so beautifully, while doing such a great thing (:

Day 10.

Day 10 - A picture of someone you see yourself marrying/being with in the future.

OH BUDDY! I know I've mentioned this before.. I have QUITE the list of men (:

Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, John Mayer, Jonathan Kaleo O' Kalani Kamae <3, Zac Efron.. We'll stop there. But trust me, there's more. I guess we'll have to wait and see what the future holds, eh?! (;

Day 09.

Day 09 - A picture of the person who has gotten you through the most.

Well, this seems kind of obvious, but my parents have been pulling me through everything in my life, and I'm so so so grateful to them for sticking with me. I don't know what infested my brain as a teenager, but I was NOT pleasant, not even in the least bit. I was a complete snot, a HUGE rebel for no reason, and I felt it necessary to never want to help my Mom or the family with anything? And the amount of make up? Really? Shaylin, you looked like a retard. Anyways, my parents still love me and put up with everything that I do, and they help me out more than I could have ever asked for. I love my parents more than anything in the world. LOVE THEM!! Seriously, the best ever.

My Mom is such a freaking dork, and she's so creative and funny and let it be known that SHE forced me to go to my first "toilet papering" adventure. I did not want to go, but she made me.. And the rest is history (:

My Dad on the other hand, is the most tender hearted human being on the face of this planet. All he does is try to please everyone, gives everything he has to help his family even when he doesn't have much to begin with. I definitely have thee biggest soft spot in my heart for him.. I remember one time and we were playing games and he just wasn't having very good luck and I felt so bad for him that I started crying a little and tried to help him win.. I love my Dad. Love love love him.

Kevin, my step-dad, is amazing. He is immaculately patient with everyone and everything, and he is such a little kid at heart. He's all about family and his "toys". He definitely makes sure that anytime we're home, no matter the season, we have something to do. Boating in the summer, quadding whenever, snowmobiling in the winter.. He's so sweet. And, the first time I met him (back when I was.. 5?), he put me on his shoulders!! Instant connection. :D Never thought I'd be blessed with 2 amazing Dad's, but apparently I'm just super loved from the Man Upstairs!! I love Kevin (:

Can I just say, I LOVE MY FAMILY!

And (Side-note) Blogging is now my drug.. I'm seriously addicted to posting. But I'm justifying it right now because I'm doing the 30 day challenge, and since I started with Day 01 on Nov 22, I should be on Day 17 today. And I'm not. So technically, I'm just catching up? I'm really sorry if you (whoever you are) is getting irritated with the mass amounts that I post. And how much I ramble. But hey, this is my thing.. I call the shots (:

Day 08.

Day 08 - A picture that makes you laugh.

Two pictures. Focus on Kaylee.

Day 07.

Day 07 - A picture of someone/something that has the biggest impact on you.

Now that I'm on my own, doing things because I want, and not because I'm forced, and finding out who I really am and what I believe in.. These men have THEE greatest significance in my life. They tell me to do something; I'll do it. I know that they are carefully chosen by MY Heavenly Father, who put them on this earth to get His message to the world. I don't ask questions, I just do it.

My goodness, I love The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.. Thanks Mom and Dad for raising me in the gospel (: I'll be forever grateful..

Day 06.

Day 06 - A picture that shows your true self.

I'm still a little kid that loves watching Elmo and other various cartoons.
I love to jump around and be crazy.
I love to go to different states (This time, 'twas Cali)
And, I'm usually tan... ish.

Day 05.

Day 05 - A picture of somewhere you've been to.

Technically, any picture that I've ever taken will work for this post.

The Festival Of Colors
I understand that this is not very far away, seeing as it's in the state that I live in, but it's freaking rad! I've gone twice now, and plan on attending it every year that I can!!

And Mexico (: -P.S. I'm going there for a third time next weekend. NEXT WEEKEND PEOPLE! 10 DAYS! (and these little cuties will be there too!)

Day 04.

Day 04 - A habit that you wish you didn't have.

Oh wow.. Time to point out the flaws, eh? Well, let's get 'r done then.

ONE- Biting my nails. (No picture. Just disgusting.)

TWO- Thinking I'm invincible to where I'll never get sunburnt. Shaylin. Use. Sunscreen.

THREE- Having such a solid opinion on some things. (No picture can show this.) But music, either I hate it, or I love it. People, I either love them, or I judge them. The list goes on. But I'm in the process of fixing them..

FOUR- Curling my hair. And thinking it looks cute. I do this, every single time I curl my hair. I think it looks good, I go out in public, pictures are taken.. Then I get the shocking news when I see the pictures and think "WHAT THE FREAK CRAWLED AROUND IN MY HAIR?!"

FIVE - Spending money. Yes, I'm a shopaholic. I just can't help it!!

Oh golly.. we're done with this one.

You need to see this.

Thanks to Kayla Merten for allowing me to discover this, you now get to see me in my most beautiful, inspiring form.

Day 03. (I'm in a bloggy mood)

Day 03 - A picture of you and your craziest friend.
AKA, I will post 3 pictures of 3 of my craziest friends. Please don't get this wrong with my best friends. (Although these 3 fall in that category as well)

(Also, these are in order of when I met them)
Crazy Friend #1: Kaylee June Dewey.. AKA my big sister

Friends since August 1, 1990.. although not best friends until many years later. She and I have been through more than a lot of ups and downs, fights and tender moments, and best of all, jumping up and down-go crazy days! Every time we get together, it's filled with laughing until we cry, food (usually), and talking like complete retards; but understanding each other completely. I love this girl so incredibly much! Good thing we're related, so I never have to worry about not keeping in touch throughout the years to come.

Crazy Friend #2: Jonathan Kaleo O' Kalani Kamae.. AKA "The Missionary"

Jonathan and I met back in Jr. High, but didn't really start talking until our Junior year of High School. After a little while of hanging out, we were an "official" couple on August 16th, 2007. Let me tell you, this kid is INSANE!! I seriously hope he's still crazy-fun when he gets home from his mission, because he was always.. and I mean ALWAYS making me laugh!! Whenever I had some silly idea, he'd go along with it because he's such a sweetheart, but then he'd end up taking it to the next level of extreme-craziness!! He was always ready for spontaneous activities, and could come up with something to do in seconds. (P.S. - He comes home in 80 days!!!)

Crazy Friend #3: Carly Ann Lockwood.. AKA Current Roommate and The Third Sister That I Never Had
Carly and I met around the beginning of 2009, but she had a boyfriend that liked to flirt with Kaylee and I, so she didn't think very highly of me at the time. As the year went on, she realized how cool I was, and how idiotic her boyfriend was! She and I started getting really close probably at the beginning of 2010, and this girl is just a little kid! Which matches my personality perfectly!! She and I do more random things than anyone I've ever met! For example, we ran out of our apartments without shoes on to look at the pretty lightning.. but there were trees in the way, so we walked into the parking lot. But both trees AND apartments were in our way.. We just kept walking, and before we knew it, we were at Pizza Pie Cafe!! Then we ended up on the roof.. That is just one of the billions of moments with her. I'm so glad I met her. She is amazing!! I LOVE HER!!

Sunday, December 5, 2010

I will finish the 30 day challenge.. just not right now.

This is random, and quite disgusting. But I haven't shaved my legs in about 2 weeks, because I haven't needed to.. Plus, I just wear tights or leggings every sunday to church. What I don't understand is how men can just be okay with their harry legs! I was wearing long socks today, and the hairs were getting pulled by my socks and now my sweats.. GROSS! Maybe it feels different to guys? Maybe they just don't know what it feels like to have smooth legs? I'm not quite sure the answer, but I do know that I don't like the way this feels, and even though I'm incredibly superfluously tired and I just want to go to bed and it's 12:13am.. I might just go shave my legs.

That's all.

Plus I'm sick of homework. And school. Only 13 more days and I'll be in Mexico.. Oh how I can't wait for that..

Day 02.

Day 02 - A really good memory.

For some reason, this post is taking me a long time to come up with something.. Meaning the whole "Day After Day" of this challenge has already failed.. whoops/my bad.

-Now that it's about.. 7 years since I started this challenge, I'll continue with "Day 2"

My really good memory happened on August 31, 2010.

Usana Amphitheater.
Megan Marie Sanchez.
Beautiful weather.
Owl City.
And... John Mayer (:

I don't know why I was chosen to be able to partake in a little piece of heaven, but I am most definitely grateful for it. This concert was one of the most relaxing, heart warming, bitter, loving, inspirational, fun concerts that I've ever been to. John Mayer is really one of a kind.. Some may say that he's a dirt bag, and quite the whore... But in that moment of his concert, none of that mattered. I love that he was dressed like a comfortable homeless man, just because he wanted to! He doesn't care what other people think. If I didn't believe there was only one God, I would be convinced he was one as well. And his music is every synonym of amazing. Plus the fact that I was there with one of my dearest friends, Megan.. It just made the night one for the books (: I'm oh so happy that I was able to attend such a beautiful event.

(Sorry for the gruesome picture..)

3. I have a disco ball mounted on the ceiling in my living room
4. I'm addicted to music!!
5. I often consider participating in the backwards form of polygamy.. I would choose Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, John Mayer, Joshua Radin, Jonathan Kamae, Adam Young, Dave Elkins, and a couple other men for my husbands (:
6. I use the word "faggot" probably way more than is healthy for me.
7. I absolutely love my job, and the people I work with. They're my family!

11. I learn something new everyday. Literally. For example, this morning I learned that "fan" is short for "fanatic"!!
12. I don't wear half of my wardrobe anymore, because I'm either at work, or going to school. Work outfit: Jeans and PPC shirt and hat. School: Sweats (because of yoga). When I get home: Sweats.
13. I don't have a favorite color. I like all bright/vibrant colors.
14. I still sleep with a stuffed animal, and I'm 20 years old. His name is Franklin, and I sleep terribly when I don't have him.
15. I'm super sarcastic, goofy, hyper and hardly ever serious.

Just a few bullet-points of my life right now..

First of all, I cut the tip of my finger off at work today. (almost all the way off.. still attached though! I know, gross.)
Second, I'm learning so much about Polygamy through a book called "Escape" by Carolyn Jessop.. Very good book.
Third, Jonathan comes home in 99 days. We're down to freaking double digits. WHEN did time decide to go faster than the speed of light?
Fourth, I definitely have Bieber fever (: -Justin Bieber, that is. I love his music! And no, it's not embarrassing (as my roommate Holly said) I'm proud of it. I don't care how old he is, or how much he sounds like a girl. He's got talent! Haha
Fifth, I got a 94/100 on my ASL test today!! And I've gotten "A's" on all 3 of my math tests so far! I have another one to take this weekend, so hopefully it follows the same pattern!!
Sixth, one of my really good friends, Courtney Dahl, is GETTING MARRIED ON FRIDAY!! I'm so excited for her (: This means I'm a bridesmaid for a third time in one year! Wowza!
Seventh, Harry Potter 7 part one comes out on Friday - But I'm not going to see it until it dies down a little.
Eighth, TAYLOR ELAINE SMITH IS NOW ENGAGED!!!!! She's one of my old roommates, and entirely adorable!! I'm in love with her, and I'm so happy for her and Lance (:

I think I'm done for now (:
